Texas Health School (THS) has been educating healthcare professionals in Houston since 2002. In 2019, we moved into a modernized facility, fit for our growing class offerings. THS is centrally located on Katy Freeway in the West Houston area, west of the Memorial City Mall, with an easy access to the world’s largest Texas Medical Center. Financial Aid and Tuition Assistance – Texas Health School

At Texas Health School, we believe that every student deserves an equal opportunity to achieve their educational goals, regardless of their financial situation. Our programs of grants and loans are aimed at providing eligible students with the financial support they need to pursue their careers in nursing or allied health.

Texas Health School meets the eligibility criteria to participate in select Federal Title IV programs. While the primary responsibility of educational costs lies with the individual student and their families, Financial Aid funds are available to provide additional support for covering these expenses.

Who Can Apply for Tuition Assistance?

We encourage all students to apply for tuition assistance. In cases where students fail to qualify for financial aid or do not desire to apply for educational loans, they have the option of paying their tuition fees in monthly installments to the school. Payment arrangements can be made with the Financial Aid Office.

*Final tuition payment is due prior to starting clinicals and/or externships for non-nursing programs and before graduation for nursing programs.

Application Procedures

To begin the application process, complete a Texas Health School Financial Aid Application and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You can accomplish this at our Financial Aid Office or online: Home | Federal Student Aid.

Student eligibility is determined by our Financial Aid Representative, who reviews completed applications and other relevant financial paperwork. The Financial Aid Representative utilizes a needs analysis system at the time of the student’s interview to determine if they are eligible to receive financial aid. They are also available to explain available funds and discuss tuition payment plans with students.
